The Chipoka stump is a large, beautifully handcrafted African Acacia stump. All of our work is sustainably sourced and hand milled on site in Lilongwe, Malawi. African Acacia is one of the most sought after wood species in the world and it's arguably the most recognizable native tree to Africa. Known for it's famous sunset silhouettes on African savannas, the Acacia remains a staple in the unforgettable East African landscape.
Malawi is part of the great rift valley and its flora and fauna are unique and some of which are not found anywhere else in the world. This beautiful stump can be used to decorate ones home and will provide a distinguishing look to any living area. One can serve as an end table and two can be used as a unique coffee table base featuring a glass top.
In partnership with Root to Fruit, we are pledging to plant 10 fruit trees in the country of Malawi when this bowl is sold. The client can choose the tree species, will receive a certificate from the non-profit organization, and will also have a GPS location of where their trees have been planted in Africa.
