This beautiful mid-century modern coffee table is part of a very exclusive line by CONTOUR. We call this piece The Zalewa End Table, inspired by our experiences in the small country of Malawi. The raw beauty of the East African Acacia tree is highlighted in this one of a kind end table designed by Jamar Simien. The legs are made of repurposed steel rebar in a village outside of Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi. Designed in Accra, Ghana and developed in Malawi, our end table series is modern and is the perfect way to celebrate the uniqueness and value of exotic wood.
In partnership with Root to Fruit, we are pledging to plant 10 fruit trees in the country of Malawi when this table is sold. The client can choose the tree species, will receive a certificate from the non-profit organization, and will also have a GPS location of where their trees have been planted in Africa.
