A large, beautifully handcrafted bowl made out of Chitimbe wood. Named after the town of Karonga in Northern Malawi, this bowl is elegant and would be a unique addition to a foyer. Known as the wave bowl, because they are meticulously formed using the natural grain and features of the wood to provide a unique and individual piece. No two pieces are the same. This particular bowl is made out of the Chitimbe tree and comes from East Africa, from a small country known as Malawi.
Malawi is part of the great rift valley and its flora and fauna are unique and some of which are not found anywhere else in the world. This beautiful bowl can be used to decorate ones home and will provide a distinguishing look to any living area.
In partnership with Root to Fruit, we are pledging to plant 5 fruit trees in the country of Malawi when this bowl is sold. The client can choose the tree species, will receive a certificate from the non-profit organization, and will also have a GPS location of where their trees have been planted in Africa.
